Mr. Richard Lucier
Trustee (2005-present)

Following more than thirty years of general management experience working with culturally diverse business operations, Mr. Richard Lucier now dedicates his time and energy to improving local non-profit organizations. 

For three decades preceding his retirement in 2000, Mr. Lucier worked in the field of corporate training and management development in both the United States and abroad.  He held senior leadership positions with AchieveGlobal, Times Mirror Training Companies, Learning International, Xerox Learning Systems Europe and Xerox Learning Systems USA.  His distinguished career also includes six years in the educational publishing industry with both Science Research Associates (an IBM subsidiary) and Ealing Films.

A graduate of Colby College, Mr. Lucier has served for seven years on his alma mater’s Alumni Fund Committee and as chairman of the 40th and 45th Reunion Gift Committee.  In addition, Mr. Lucier sits on the Board of Advisors of the Thompson Island Outward Bound Education Center, and has been an active fundraiser for the organization.  He is also a Massachusetts Justice of the Peace.

Mr. Lucier and his wife currently reside in Duxbury.
