July 28, 2010:

• University legislation signed by Governor Patrick
• 90-day legal waiting period begins
• BSU website goes live

August 10, 2010:

• New logos made available to campus community on BSU website

August 31, 2010:

• BSU stationery (letterhead, envelopes, business cards, etc.) made available to campus community; details to be made available by the Office of Institutional Communications through Community Announcements

September 1, 2010:   

• Official renaming ceremony on Boyden Quadrangle
• Boyden Hall façade lettering changed

September 2, 2010:   

• Signage change for campus gateways (School Street and Hooper Street), Boyden Quadrangle, Gates House and Kelly Gymnasium (large exterior sign only)

September 9, 2010:

• Signage change for all major campus way-finding signs

October 14, 2010:

• October Board of Trustees meeting: consideration to rename “schools” into “colleges”

October 28, 2010:     

• 90-day legal waiting period ends
• Institution begins issuing BSU transcripts and grade reports

January 28, 2011:     

• Winter Commencement: First BSU degrees awarded

June 30, 2011:

• Final day of use for any remaining BSC stationery

Fall Semester (Ongoing):

• Signage change for all external signs
• Temporary alterations to key internal signs
• Requisite changes for all BSU uniforms (employee and athletic)
• Requisite changes for all BSU vehicles
• Signage change for all external signs (including Attleboro and New Bedford)

Spring Semester (Ongoing):

• Signage change for all internal signs
• Deployment of BSU banners
• Requisite changes to Spring Commencement staging
