Bridgewater State University Police Participate in Active Shooter Training

On Friday, January 8, Bridgewater State University Police participated in advanced law enforcement rapid response training (ALERT) on campus. The primary focus of the training is to train front-line police officers how to respond to an active shooter or a hostage takeover. WBZ News provided coverage and spoke to Captain Michael Froio of BSUPD.
