Subject: Announcement of Blended (On-line/In-person) Courses
Dear BSU students,
I hope you are well and having a restful summer.
As we indicated at the time of the release of the final report of the BSU Safe Return Task Force, Bridgewater State University will be delivering most of its classes online for the fall semester and we are working hard to update this information in Infobear as soon as possible. However, I am pleased to announce that faculty, deans and administrators have identified 233 undergraduate and graduate courses that will be offered in a blended format, combining both in-person and on-line instruction. That list of courses can be found here (updated 7/28/2020) and this information will also be updated on Infobear as we get closer to the semester.
BSU is also exploring offering up to 121 additional courses, mainly seminar and capstone courses, in a blended format. That announcement will be made by Tuesday, July 28.
For students who may be uncomfortable coming to campus to attend an in-person class, faculty are developing alternative ways in which you can participate in those classes. Professors will provide details on how specific blended courses will be organized at the beginning of the semester.
Classroom locations for the blended courses are being finalized and will be updated on Infobear as the summer progresses.
