Over a 40 year career in communications, Professor Sennott has worked primarily for utility companies and non-profits. He is a former Vice President of Communications at United Way of Rhode Island and was head of communications for the North American division of Enel Green Power. Based in Rome, Enel itself is the largest utility company in Europe and a world-wide leader in the renewable energy field. He is currently Marketing Director for Mari Sennott Plus, his wife's successful real estate practice that operates under the umbrella of Today Real Estate, the largest independently owned firm on Cape Cod.
Professor Sennott has been teaching both full and part time at BSU for the last seven years. He began his association with the University at the Cape Cod campus. He also taught for several years at Rhode Island College while working at United Way. He began his teaching career at what was then Dean Junior College in Franklin, MA.
