Special Education Graduate Programs

special education class

Special education is an important component of the educational landscape, and the demand for compassionate, committed, and qualified teachers has never been greater. Special education takes various forms depending on the nature and severity of the disability – cognitive, emotional, behavioral, physical – and the grade level. Bridgewater offers a remarkable breadth of M.Ed. programs, most leading to licensure for both moderate and severe disabilities, and in grade ranges PreK-8 and 5-12. Taught by experienced faculty, these programs are ideal for working teachers and paraprofessionals who wish to work in the special education field.
