David Price, associate dean of aviation, was elected to the board of directors for the Aero Club of New England. [br][br]"This is a very important role for me to have on behalf of Bridgewater State University," Mr. Price said. "Because of BSU's involvement with ACONE, the organization has increased its involvement with our students over the past year, helping some find excellent jobs after graduation."[br][br]The Aero Club of New England was created in 1902, more than a year before the Wright Brother's first flight. It is the oldest aviation club in the United States. [br][br]Mr. Price's election follows his service last year on the scholarship committee. Several BSU students have received scholarship money from ACONE. Last year, it gave out more than $26,000 in scholarships to aviation students. [br][br]This past year, ACONE also made a generous donation to BSU's flight team; and the organization is a sponsor of the institution's ACE Camp held each summer.[br][br]More information about the organization can be found [link]here|[/link].
