The Office of Community Standards supports the university’s mission and values by helping students examine the impact that their behaviors have on their own educational outcomes, their interpersonal relationships, and among the community at large. Through interactions with the Office of Community Standards, students develop important critical thinking skills and a strong foundation of personal and professional ethics that help prepare them to contribute as productive members of society.
The Office of Community Standards supports the development and maintenance of a thriving learning environment by helping students learn the value of their rights and to realize the importance of their responsibility as members of the campus community, and in all communities of which they are a part.
