Help Your Career Take Flight: Aviation Science Degrees at Bridgewater State University

Prepare to take to the skies by choosing one of the top colleges with aviation programs. Bridgewater State University’s aviation science degrees get you in the air early and often — combining a broad-based education with hands-on, practical flight training.

As you research colleges with aviation programs, seek out a program that provides you with options. That’s why we offer two aviation science degrees in aviation management and flight training, as well as a minor that complements nearly any bachelor’s degree. Our graduates go on to careers as pilots and work in other areas of aviation and airport management.

At BSU, our aviation degrees and minor will allow you to:

  • Learn from experts and passionate educators. Throughout our aviation degree programs, take courses from experienced instructors and professionals who are positioning you for success in your studies and in the skies.
  • Take coursework in various formats and at our aviation training center. Unlike other colleges with aviation programs, BSU’s aviation science degree coursework can be taken online, in person and in a hybrid format. You’ll also complete your flight time at our aviation training center in New Bedford, 30 minutes south of campus.

The BSU Aviation Science program provides comprehensive flight training and aviation management education, encourages lifelong learning, and prepares our graduates to be aviation leaders serving the dynamic aviation industry in Massachusetts and beyond.
