Reunion Committees can be created for any class, club or chapter and are only as formal as they need to be to meet the needs of our alumni. They typically take one of three forms:
These are ad hoc groups of alumni contacted by our professional staff to serve as a sounding board for our ideas and to offer insights in refining our plans for events for your class.
These groups may be initiated by us or among alumni themselves and they actually gather together (in person or over the phone) to formulate ideas for activities and help implement events for your class. An implementation may involve promoting class activities through your social media or working the phones to convince classmates to participate.
These are standing committees with recognized alumni leadership and volunteer structure for working with our professional staff to plan and implement their own annual activities that involve classmates. There may also be subcommittees that harness alumni expertise in event planning, writing, and fundraising.
If you want to be involved in organizing alumni activities for your classmates, just let us know by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Depending on the level of enthusiasm among your classmates, we can offer something as simple as a designated table at the all-alumni breakfast during Homecoming or help you recruit a more formal group to plan other ways to participate.
