Yihong Xiao received her PhD in finance and an MS in actuarial science from the University of Connecticut. Dr. Xiao has taught Financial Management and Fixed Income Security Analysis to undergraduate students and provided financial consulting to technology, utility, and aviation companies before joining BSU. Her research interests include investments, corporate finance and real estate finance economics. Dr. Xiao’s paper “Do REITs use cash reserves efficiently? Evidence from corporate acquisitions” (with Chinmoy Ghosh and Milena Petrova) was published in the Journal of International Money and Finance.
