Dr. Jeanne Carey Ingle is a Professor in the Elementary and Early Childhood Education Department. She is an International Initiatives’ Faculty Fellow, an Association for Teacher Educators Clinical Fellow and Co-principal Investigator for STEM-EL, a National Science Foundation Improving Undergraduate STEM Education Grant. She teaches courses at the undergraduate and graduate level on multilingual-learner education, research methods and digital literacy. Dr. Ingle’s published work includes multiple book chapters, academic and practitioner journal articles, and she has recently co-authored a book on digital literacy in teacher preparation, From Pencils to Pixels: Practical Strategies for PreK-8 Educators in 21st Century Classrooms (2025). She also frequently presents at national and international conferences.
