Having spent nearly twenty years in teaching and administrative positions in public schools, Kaitlin Donahue has published and presented on topics related to leadership, mentoring, teaching and learning. Her publications include an article on new principal leadership and teacher morale. Dr. Donahue received a Master’s in Literacy from Alfred University, a Master’s in School Leadership from the College of St. Rose, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership. Dr. Donahue went on to earn a Certificate in Education Finance from Georgetown University. She serves as the President of the Southeast Regional Reading Committee as well as on the Massachusetts Reading Association’s Student Scholarship Committee. Dr. Donahue serves as the professional development coordinator for the Rhode Island Instruction Leadership Academy, the professional development arm of the Rhode Island Association of Principals. The PD Coordinator develops and coordinates professional development programs, and events, as well facilitates the development of networks that serve the professional, educational, and training needs of the organization.
