Dr. Susan Eliason is a Professor in the Elementary & Early Childhood Department and the Childhood Studies Program Coordinator. At BSU, she serves in leadership roles that promote faculty development, such as a fellow for the Office of Teaching and Learning and in the Teaching and Technology Center as well as Interdisciplinary Learning and Research. Dr. Eliason teaches and develops courses for Childhood Studies, Virtual Education, as well as the Early Education and Care program. She creates texts and open educational resources used in these courses. Recent presentations include: Supporting Interdisciplinary Learning: Project-Based Learning in the virtual environment; Civic learning across colleges: Pursuing equity by identifying inequities & advancing civic dispositions; Creating Interactive, Integrative, and Engaging Online Content with Choice Boards.
