Dr. Susan Eliason is an Associate Professor in the Elementary & Early Childhood Department working primarily with students majoring in Early Education & Care. Additionally, she is the program coordinator for the Childhood Studies major and minor. She engages in faculty development and has served as a fellow for the Office of Teaching and Learning and in the Teaching and Technology Center. This year she is continuing as the Interdisciplinary Studies co-coordinator to explore how to increase the opportunities for interdisciplinary learning and research at BSU.

Her research interests include educator preparation, curriculum development, and Open Pedagogy. She teaches and develops courses for Childhood Studies as well as the Early Education and Care program and creates texts used in these courses.
