Have students select four moments on the timeline that connect in some way. It is up to the students to determine this connection, and make a case for how they connect. Have them create a graphic organizer, such as a Venn diagram or web of some sort, to show how the moments connect. Teachers could scaffold this activity with the themes from the timeline.
