Bridgewater State University is working to provide emergency funding for students who have been economically impacted by COVID-19 pandemic. As a result of the CARES Act and CRRSAA relief funds, and ARP, institutions of higher education can request funding to be disbursed to students who have needs based on the results of COVID-19 pandemic. If you are struggling financially because of this pandemic, this is a way to get help.

Here are a couple things to consider:

  • This is a grant, and you will not have to pay it back
  • Current undergraduate or graduate students who are enrolled at BSU can apply for emergency funding
  • This funding will not impact your federal or state aid
  • Priority in funding will be given to those with the highest financial need
  • If you receive funds, you must have a United States bank account and will be required to set-up direct deposit

As of the ending quarter 6/30/2022, the total amount of Student Emergency Financial Aid Grants distributed to BSU students under Section 18004(a)(1) Student Portion, totals $22,064,797.00.
