WBZ-TV spotlighted BSU’s Center for Artificial Intelligence and the ways the university is preparing students to use AI in their careers. The story featured interviews with students as well as Dr. Anne Hird, a secondary education professor, and Eric LePage, assistant vice president of AI and EdTech innovation.
Dr. Emily Field, a professor of English, spoke with the U.S. Postal Service about Phillis Wheatley, a West African who was brought to Boston on a slave ship and became a Colonial-era poet and author. The USPS recently released a new stamp honoring Wheatley as part of the organization’s Black Heritage stamp series.
