Canadian Studies

Connecting Canada and Southeastern Massachusetts

The oldest of several vibrant global studies programs at Bridgewater State University, Canadian Studies has promoted research, teaching, and learning about Canada and Canadian-American relations in southeastern Massachusetts and the United States since 1973. Ours is a multifaceted mission with a wide range of on-campus activities rooted in the school’s core that include departmental curricula and student extra-curricular functions, and an active off-campus presence connecting the university to business and academic partners based in New England and Canada.

BSU Canadian Studies is a center of academic expertise and inquiry, and a window on Canada and Canadian affairs for students, scholars, entrepreneurs, policymakers and others in our region. We invite you to explore our program and learn more about who we are, what we do, and how we might be of interest or assistance to you.
