Prerequisite: First-Year Writing Placement Exam or consent of Academic Achievement Center
Corequisite: ENGL 101E (formerly ENGL 101T) Under faculty supervision, students acquire strategies such as reading texts, developing thesis into argument and integrating opinion into argument, which will enhance their success in the corequisite course. Successful completion of ENGL 144 requires successful completion of the corequisite ENGL 101E.
