Adv. Instrumental Conducting

Prerequisite: MUSC 351 This course, a follow-up to MUSC 351, is intended to prepare undergraduate music majors for conducting instrumental ensembles (Orchestral, Wind Band and Chamber). Students will be able to utilize the basic skills of the first semester of conducting and apply those skills to actual scores representing different style periods. Students will not only prepare to physically conduct the score but will prepare an extensive written score analysis. Offered spring semester.
