Animation

Prerequisite: ARTS 104 This course covers traditional and digital forms of animation: frame by frame drawings, film, photographic stop motion; and vector, motion graphics, animated video, and 3D animation. The course emphasizes narrative animation as a form of artistic expression and the experimental cross over of studio techniques. Two field trips and a Netflix subscription will be required. Six hours per week. Offered either semester. Additional fee required.
