Business Intelligence/Analytic

Prerequisite: ACFI 502 and ECON 500 and MGMT 500; or waiver This course provides an introduction to the field of 'business intelligence/analytics' involving the use of data, statistical and quantitative analysis, exploratory and predictive models and fact-based management to drive decisions and actions. Such topics as data warehouses, data marts, business performance management, dashboards/scorecards, data mining, text analytics, web analytics and 'big data' will be discussed. Offered annually.
