Class Guitar I (Classical)

This course is an introduction to the fundamentals of classical guitar playing for those with or without prior experience. Through the performance of classical music, folk songs, American spirituals and pop melodies, the beginning guitar student will learn to read music, grasp basic theory, understand terminology and identify the different stylistic periods in music. Offered fall and spring semesters.
