Computer Forensics

Prerequisite: COMP 250 with a minimum grade of "C-" or CYBF 260 with a minimum grade of "C-" This course provides fundamentals of digital forensics knowledge and skills on Computer Operating Systems. Students will learn how to acquire, explore, recover and analyze the forensics evidence on Computer Operating Systems. Students will obtain practical experiences of digital forensics investigations through hands-on exercises. Focus on specific Computer Operating Systems (such as Windows, Mac OS, Linux) may vary over semesters. Offered annually.
