Students will learn to critically analyze ethnocentric perspectives, understand the sociocultural influences on individuals' worldviews, and recognize the factors that establish and maintain cultural norms. Emphasis will be placed on recognizing, understanding and respecting the complexity of sociocultural and international diversity including the role of power and privilege in shaping human conditions.
