Prerequisite: MKTG 200 This course is designed to build students' digital marketing skills by utilizing projects that give students hands-on experience implementing internet and social media marketing strategies. Topics will include internet advertising, e-mail marketing, search engine marketing, blogs, choosing appropriate platforms, creating effective and engaging content, content management, social media advertising, social listening and
creating and implementing a social media strategy. Upon completion, students will have knowledge of digital marketing tools and should be able to use social media technologies to create and improve marketing efforts for businesses and organizations. Offered fall and spring semester.
