Drawing I

This course focuses on methods of direct observational drawing from life using inanimate objects, architecture and the landscape as subjects. It emphasizes realistic rendering of form and space using techniques of perspective and value. It also focuses on developing an understanding of formal design as related to drawing. The study of the figure will not be covered in this course. Meets six hours weekly. Offered annually. Additional fee required.
