Prerequisite: ELED 305 and ELED 314 and ELED 315 Corequisite: ELED 344 and ELED 360 Teacher candidates build upon skills developed during Field Experience I through participation in a field experience consisting of direct engagement with elementary students in authentic instructional settings. Teacher candidates will have the opportunity to practice, to be observed and to receive feedback on teaching. Teacher candidates will translate theory into practice with developmentally appropriate instructional methods for teaching individual children and/or small groups. Field placements will be off-campus in public elementary schools serving students of diverse populations. Teacher candidates will be required to submit a Criminal Offenders Record Information (CORI) and fingerprints to the school districts in which they are placed. Offered fall and spring semesters.
