Elementary Art Methods

Prerequisite: Admission to the Professional Education Program and passing scores on all appropriate MTEL®: Communication and Literacy, Foundations of Reading and General Curriculum An introduction to methods and materials in art for the elementary teacher. Art projects typical of those done by children in grades K-6 are produced. Classroom management, bulletin board design and lesson introduction techniques are explored. Graded on a (P) Pass/(N) No Pass basis. Offered annually.
