Elementary French II

Prerequisite: LAFR 101; or see the "Foreign Language Placement Policy" on the Global Languages and Literatures Department website The further study of elementary syntactic, semantic, phonetic and paralinguistic structures is offered. Pertinent everyday cultural concepts discussed. Relevant comparison and contrast with the native language is treated. Functional communication in the second language in a controlled environment is the principal objective of the course. Offered fall and spring semesters.
