This course provides students with practical skills in the use of a variety of instruments and technologies for field data collection in geography. The course covers the operation, calibration and troubleshooting of tools used for both physical and human geography research, including GPS, GIS, environmental sensors and remote sensing technologies. Students will apply these instruments in real-world settings through hands-on fieldwork.
