Finance & Budget in Higher Ed

Prerequisite: EDLE 504 and EDLE 505 This course is designed to provide graduate students with an overview of the principles and practices of financing institutions of higher education. The course will also focus on the structure and process of building budgets for institutions and attempt to develop the administrative skills relevant for budget planning. The sources of funds for colleges and universities and concepts of resource allocation will also be examined. Offered annually.
