Prerequisite: CRJU 101 and CRJU 202 This course will examine the legal, sociocultural, historical, and political aspects of human trafficking and modern-day slavery. The course will take an inclusive approach and will provide a detailed explanation about organ trafficking, child marriage and child soldiers. Students will be able to understand that the problem of human trafficking is not limited to one country, but that it is a reality affecting the whole world. The main aim for this course is to provide an understanding of all forms of human trafficking and current responses to this crime. Offered alternate years.
