Prerequisite: COMP 250 with a minimum grade of "C-"; and MATH 130 This course includes physical data organization; the hierarchical, network and relational data models; design theory for relational database, data dependencies, normal forms and preventing loss of information; query optimization; and integrity and security of databases.
