Literacy Leadership

Candidates are introduced to the subject matter that supports their daily interactions with teacher-colleagues, administration, families and the community as literacy specialists/interventionists. They will examine effective practices for communicating with a variety of K-12 stakeholders and begin to explore adult learning theories. Throughout the course, candidates will gain a deeper understanding of the intervention process known as Response to Intervention (RtI) or Multi-tiered Systems of Support (MTSS). Offered fall and spring semesters.
