Prerequisite: Matriculation in Ed.S in Reading; course restricted to cohort members. In this second practicum, Ed.S. in reading candidates are guided through the completion of the gap analysis research project that serves as their literacy plan for their school or district and was developed and proposed in READ 680. Candidates will implement the gap analysis research project with the supervision of a school-based practitioner and university professor. During this practicum, candidates are expected to apply their understanding of the literacy coach role as they implement their gap analysis research project, collect data, draw conclusions, and provide recommendations regarding their plan for literacy at their school or district.
