Includes applicable principles of adolescent psychology, a brief history of the development of this literature, criteria and aids for selection, techniques in motivation and reading guidance and skills in reading, listening and viewing. Designed for teachers, librarians and media specialists working with junior and senior high school students. Offered fall and spring semester. May be taken for graduate-level credit.
