Making the World: Since 1500

This course surveys major issues and events in world history from the beginning of Western expansion around 1500 C.E. through the present. Topics include colonialism and anti-colonial movements, global trade networks, revolutions, industrialization, and nationalism, and globalization. Offered annually.
