Prerequisite: COMD 281 and COMD 282 and COMD 290 This course will present an overview of the neurological, anatomical and physiological bases of speech and language in order to more fully understand the processes of speech and language disorders. The course will explore interdisciplinary connections between neuroscience, neurolinguistics, communication disorders, cognitive psychology, neuroimaging and research design. Offered fall and spring semesters.
