Prerequisite: POLI 501 or consent of instructor Budgeting and financial management are important skills for nonprofit managers. Through this class, we will explore the unique issues connected to nonprofit budgeting, including how to forecast your fundraising and expenses and create/understand a nonprofit budget. We will also explore how to manage your funds once you have a budget together, including setting fees and working with contracts. By the end of the class, students will be able to create and manage a budget for a nonprofit organization. Offered alternate years.
