Org Culture/Work Force Divers

Prerequisite: ACFI 200; and ECON 500 or ECON 101 and ECON 102; and ECON 501 or ECON 210; or waiver This course uses knowledge about different cultures, across organizational types, industries and nations, to develop an understanding of how diverse members of an organization can work together toward shared values, while still maintaining their individual identities. Students study a variety of culture-dependent approaches to time, space, language and workplace practices. The management of work force diversity as a valuable resource for organizational creativity and knowledge-building provides a special emphasis. Offered alternate years.
