Corequisite: GEOG 121L This course explores the fundamental processes and patterns of Earth's physical systems, including the atmosphere, hydrosphere, lithosphere, and biosphere. Topics include weather and climate, landforms and geomorphology, water systems, natural hazards, and
ecosystems. Emphasis is placed on spatial thinking, Earth system interactions, and the role of physical geography in shaping the environment and influencing human activity. Through lectures, labs, and map-based exercises, students will gain foundational geographic knowledge and skills for
