Prerequisite: PSYC 201 and PSYC 204, and PSYC 304 or PSYC 320, all with a minimum grade of "C"; and PSYC 352; and three of the following: PSYC 310, PSYC 336, PSYC 342, PSYC 370; or consent of instructor This course is an empirical and theoretical examination of the psychology of language. Topics may include language production, language comprehension, language development, the biological foundations of language, as well as the psychological issues, research and concepts relevant to the application of linguistics and language to the self and identity development. Offered annually.
