School and Community Health

This course will provide an overview of the fundamental concepts and issues in school and community health and will examine basic community and school health principles. The personal, social, and environmental factors influencing the health of communities and schools will be explored. The course will also examine the historical and structural foundations of community and school health. Offered Fall and Spring semesters.
