Prerequisite: ELED 344 and ELED 360 and ELED 375 Corequisite: ELED 414 and ELED 430 and ELED 451 This standards-based course will engage students in hands-on learning of science and engineering concepts and train students to create, critique and implement developmentally appropriate and accessible science and engineering lessons and units for the wide range of elementary school learners. Students will be introduced to science and engineering practices and they will learn to integrate technology and literacy strategies into their instruction. This course prioritizes equity-based, culturally responsive practices that are designed to reduce bias in teacher practice. Offered fall and spring semesters. (Formerly ELED 313)
