This course is designed to inspire educators to integrate Social Emotional Learning into their everyday teaching. Participants will learn how to design activities that will allow for both content and social emotional skill development. Current literature on SEL development will be reviewed. We will analyze examples of successful SEL Programs, and we will explore children's literature that supports social emotional learning. Educators will leave this course with a rich variety of practical strategies to utilize in their classroom and will have developed a website that showcases their learning. Offered annually.
