Spanish Applied Linguistics

Prerequisite: LASP 234 or consent of instructor This is a survey course that will cover theories and topics in first, second and foreign language learning in formal and informal settings. Emphasis will be on second language acquisition (SLA), psycholinguistics and language processing, pedagogy and research methods. No previous knowledge of linguistics is assumed. This course is conducted entirely in Spanish. Offered annually.
