The focus of this course will be comprehensive understanding of strategic planning in colleges, universities, and other community and service organizations for successful and measurable change regarding the intended direction and goals of the organization and its strengths and weaknesses in existing programs. The policies, systems’ structure, social, political, cultural, technological, economic, global influences and pressures on the institution will also be examined. The course provides an opportunity to develop and evaluate strategic and improvement plans in educational institutions designed to create the thinking, learning, and developmental prospects that support institutional and individual expectations for achievement and fulfillment of standards and sound. Offered spring semester and summer.
