Theory/Prac Lifeguard Training

Lifeguard duties, responsibilities, requirements, and philosophy are emphasized. Successful completion of course requirements will earn Red Cross certification in Lifeguard Training and First Aid, and in CPR for the Professional Rescuer. Additional modules in Disease Transmission Prevention and Oxygen Administration for the Professional Rescuer will be offered. One hour of lecture and two hours of laboratory periods will be conducted weekly during the entire semester. Offered Fall and Spring semesters.
