Topographic Surveying and CAD

Prerequisite: GEOG 121 or consent of instructor This course will cover fundamental and advanced aspects of GPS and LiDAR as applied to land surveying and field data collection and processed in the CAD environment. This course teaches the basics of GPS and LiDAR technology, common hardware, surveying methods, survey design, planning and observing, as well as real-time kinematics and DGPS. Offered periodically.
